U-TUZ-C, based in Corsica, brings together civil protection experts with over 15 years of experience in designing and coordinating EU-funded projects. Specializing in wildfire management, drought, floods and climate disasters, U-TUZ-C offers innovative solutions to enhance the resilience of Mediterranean territories. Leveraging a strong network and pilot projects, we create living labs to test and validate new approaches to climate change challenges.

Our strength lies in our ability to unite experts and build effective consortia in complex situations. As a skills aggregator, U-TUZ-C leverages its operational experience to coordinate civil protection projects in Europe and beyond. Our network enables us to select the best entities for each mission, maximizing the impact of every project.

The U-TUC-Z staff are capable, not only to bring their operationnal and technical experience on Civil Security and Protection projects, but also to research and integrate the expert or the entity best suited for the construction of the project, or the consortium that you want to elaborate.

We participate from the beginning of the project and we work at your sides until the end of it.

U-TUZ-C plays a key role in the research and development of innovative civil protection solutions. From designing pilot sites to analyzing risk matrices, we validate operational approaches to address climate challenges. Our experts work closely with local and European partners to implement practical and technically relevant solutions.

U-TUZ-C manages the full coordination of European projects, ensuring smooth interaction between partners, event planning, and timely delivery of outputs. Our governance management skills allow us to optimally structure projects while meeting administrative and financial criteria.

Throughout a large network forged during the past 15 years, we now have contacts in all the European countries, but also in the USA, in Australia, in countries member of the ASEAN, as well as China or North Africa.

Our teams can also bring you their expertise on all the different natural or anthropic risks :

  • climatic risks,
  • seismic risks,
  • chemical and radiological risks, and more globaly on all the phenomena having an impact on the « normal » way of life).

Faced with the challenges of climate change, U-TUZ-C is committed to developing a new paradigm for civil protection. Through an interdepartmental and interagency approach to better landscape management and fire ecology, and by involving local stakeholders as farmers, breeders, residents and users – we promote innovation and adaptation for resilient territories. Our mission: to anticipate crises, propose concrete solutions and guide territories towards greater resilience.
